I lost another pound this week, bringing me so close to my 10% goal, which I originally hit on September 20, 2010. a long time ago. I am 0.2 lbs away from it, so I am pretty determined this week!
I was pretty happy with my loss, considering the number of times I did not eat dinner at home and only brought my lunch with me one day. Monday night, we had dinner with Dan’s grandparents, Tuesday night was volleyball, Wednesday night we ate at home (so I brought leftovers for lunch e next day), Thursday My mom and I went to Il Fornello last minute because we were given tickets to see that night’s performance of War Horse (I plan to review it in some detail, but you must go see it), and Friday night Dan and I went to Grindhouse Burger Bar for dinner, beer and Trivioke (hosted by Jason Rolland.
It was not my best eating week, but i did track and didn’t go over my points. But, I know I can’t have a week like that and lose all the time! So, this week, I am back on track. I went grocery shopping and stocked up on fruits and veggies, and i am eating at home more this week. My biggest challenge is today and tomorrow, as I am at a conference and don’t have access to my normal healthy snacks. But the meal today wasn’t bad – sandwiches, salad, an apple and a granola bar. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same.
This week, I am determined to reach my 10% again…and if I do, I’ll ask for a replacement for my broken original 10% key chain.
